Beaverton, OR : Beaverton Police officer injured in hit and run crash Highway 217 on Saturday October 24 2015

A Beaverton police officer was injured while on duty in a hit and run crash early Saturday morning.
The officer was traveling east on Canyon Road approaching Highway 217 when a westbound vehicle turned left in front of the officer's patrol car. The officer had a green light and the suspect had a flashing yellow left turn arrow.
The suspect fled south and was last seen heading west on Farmington Road. The vehicle is described as a dark Honda Accord with extensive front end damage and flames possibly painted on the side of the vehicle.
The police officer was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
