Montgomery, AL : Two-vehicle crash in Etowah County on Thursday, June 22, 2017

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash in Etowah County Thursday night.

Authorities said just before 10 p.m. that there are two confirmed fatalities in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car on Interstate 59 near Gadsden.

It's unknown at this time if anyone was injured.

No word yet on the cause of the crash.
