Newton County, GA : Three injured in area crashes on Lime Kiln Road, 3 miles north of Neosho in Newton County on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

A Joplin man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9 a.m. Tuesday on Lime Kiln Road, 3 miles north of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Jay L. Arnett, 82, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Joplin.

Arnett was driving a northbound car that ran off the roadway and struck a tree, the patrol said.
