CAIRO, NE : Car passenger dies in collision, authorities say on Wednesday, February 8th 2017

Authorities say a car passenger has died in a south-central Nebraska collision.

The accident occurred just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, about four miles east of Cairo. The Hall County Sheriff's Office said a westbound car driven by Brandon Salyers, 23, of Grand Island crossed a center line and collided with an eastbound car driven by Colleen Race, 29, of North Platte.
