MARSHALL COUNTY, AL : One killed following police chase in Marshall Co on Friday, 28th June 2024

A woman was killed after a police chase on Friday in Marshall County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the incident happened around 1 p.m. on Welcome Home Road after a woman was being pursued by the Albertville Police Department.

Officials said the pursuit ended in a single-vehicle wreck involving a 1995 Ford Ranger after the woman, identified as Macey Justice, 24, of Boaz, hit a culvert and then a tree.

The Marshall County Coroner’s Office said Justice was pronounced dead after being airlifted to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Center.
