Springfield,MO : Springfield man injured in wreck on June, Monday 6th 2017

A Springfield man was injured in a wreck on Monday at 3:24 p.m. on Highway 39, three miles north of Jenkins.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony Costa, 44, of Springfield, was driving a 2005 Freightliner northbound when the big rig ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Costa suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

He was wearing a safety device, and the Freightliner was totaled.
