COLLEGE STATION, TX : Driver crashes into overpass bridge at University and Highway 6 on Tuesday, 8th January 2019

Traffic is moving a bit slowly down a major intersection in College Station Tuesday morning, after a car crashed into the side of an overpass bridge.

The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. on University Drive on the Highway 6 overpass in College Station.

Just one vehicle is involved and at least one lane of traffic headed westbound has been shut down while police investigate the crash.

No word on the cause of the wreck, but there is heavy fog in the area. Officials are asking drivers to drive cautiously.
