Hermann, MO : One dead, several injured in crash with trolley in Hermann on Saturday, 20th October 2018

A 55-year-old Hermann woman was killed Saturday afternoon when her SUV collided with a trolley on a tour of the wine region.

Two passengers in the SUV, and seven people on the trolley were injured, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. The accident happened at 1:35 p.m. about 850 feet west of 27th Street.

Paula S. Heidemann died at the scene when she attempted to turn onto Route 100 and her 2005 Hyundai Tucson was struck by the eastbound trolley, according to patrol reports. She was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
