Tuscaloosa, AL : Man dies in wreck on Bear Creek Road on Saturday, 17th September 2016
A 46-year-old Tuscaloosa man died in a automobile accident Saturday, according to state troopers.
Brian Lee Swindle was a passenger in a 2005 Ford Focus that landed in a ditch and overturned at 6:05 p.m. on Bear Creek Road, about a mile south of Tuscaloosa.
Swindle was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m. Senior Trooper Reginal King said Swindle was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the Focus, Michael Hunter Boyd, 24, of Tuscaloosa and another passenger, whose name was not made available, were not injured, according to King.
