New Haven, IN : Driver dead in Sunday fatal car crash in New Haven on Sunday morning, August 17, 2014

The Allen County coroner's office has identified the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning. Arthur J. Hoffman, 52, of Fort Wayne was the unrestrained driver of a vehicle that was involved in a crash at 5:07 a.m. at Interstate 469 at Indiana 930. The cause of death has been ruled as blunt-force trauma and the manner of death was accidental. Hoffman's death is the 16th traffic fatality for Allen County in 2014.
