Logan,UT : Semi driver was wearing seat belt in fatal Logan Canyon crash on September, Wednesday 13th 2017

Upon reviewing the footage of an in-cab camera, the Utah Highway Patrol has determined that the milk tanker driver who died in a Logan Canyon crash on Wednesday was wearing his seat belt, contrary to what was initially believed.

Bruce Giddings was driving the milk tanker northbound on U.S. Highway 89 through Logan Canyon on Wednesday afternoon with a cargo of cream when the truck failed to negotiate a curve and rolled on the left shoulder. Responders were unable to stabilize Giddings, who died at the scene.
