CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO : 1 injury reported in night crash on I-55 near 94 mile marker on Tuesday, 14th May 2024

First responders were on the scene of a crash on Interstate 55 on Tuesday night.

According to Cape Girardeau Police patrolman Bobby Newton, the crash happened near the 94-mile marker at 9 p.m.

Newton said there were possibly two vehicles involved and one person was taken to a hospital with injuries.

The severity of the injury is unknown at this time.
