Huntingdon County, PA: One injured in crash in Alexandria on Wednesday, August 5th 2015

A motorcyclist was airlifted for medical treatment after colliding with a car on Route 513 early this evening.The accident occurred near the intersection of Route 513 and Brookhill Road; rescuers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m.Both the car and the motorcycle were traveling north on Route 513 just before the crash, a witness at the scene reported. The BMW motorcycle struck the rear of the car, an Audi.The motorcyclist was airlifted to St Luke's Hospital in Pennsylvania by the New Jersey State Police NorthStar helicopter, which landed in the front yard of a residence.Responding to the crash were the New Jersey State Police, Quakertown Fire and EMS,Paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center, and the medevac helicopter.State Police from the Kingwood station are handling the investigation.
