Vancouver, WA : Camas man still in hospital after Saturday crash on Saturday, 20th August, 2016
A Camas man remains in satisfactory condition at a local hospital after he crashed on state Highway 14 near Camas on Saturday afternoon.
Michael Zeman, 42, was driving a black 2012 Ford F-150 east on the highway when he left the roadway for an unknown reason, according to the Washington State Patrol. The crash occurred at about 2:20 p.m. just west of the exit to downtown Camas.
The truck took out 146 feet of guardrail and 22 wood posts before it went down an embankment, according to the State Patrol.
It took emergency crews two hours to rescue Zeman, who was the only person in the vehicle, troopers said. Zeman suffered an injured leg and was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
The State Patrol did not indicate whether any citations were issued.
