Davenport, IA : A 24-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured when his bike collided on Thursday, December, 14th 2017
A 24-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured Thursday when his bike collided with an SUV, Moline Police Detective Michael Griffin said.
The crash occurred about 3 p.m. in the 4800 block of 4th Avenue.
Police were continuing to investigate the crash late Thursday.
Griffin said the motorcyclist, of East Moline, was taken to Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. The motorcyclist was then transferred to OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, by MedForce Aeromedical Transport.
The motorcyclist was in critical condition late Thursday, Griffin said.
The driver of the SUV, a 31-year-old East Moline resident, had three children under the age of 9 as passengers. One of the children, an infant boy, was taken to Trinity Rock Island for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Moline crash investigators have not released how the crash occurred.
