DETROIT, MI : Driver arrested after going wrong way on 2 Metro Detroit highways on Sunday, 28th April 2024

A driver was arrested after she went the wrong way on two Metro Detroit highways, police said.

Officials said they received calls around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, about a wrong-way driver on I-96.

The driver was heading east in the westbound lanes of I-96 between Evergreen Road and the Southfield Freeway in Detroit, officers said.
