ESSEX, MO : 2 die in crash near Essex on Thursday, 30th May 2024

Two people died in a crash Thursday in Stoddard County.

Chance D. Winkler, 19, of Neosho, Mo. was driving a 2023 Ford Fusion. He struck the rear of a 2015 Fiat 500 driven by Sheila K. Mosley, 61, of Sikeston, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Both vehicles ran off the right side of the road. It happened on US60 about three miles east of Essex on May 30 around 9:30 p.m.
