HADLEY, MA : Two hospitalized in Hadley motorcycle crash on Saturday, 21st April 2018
A motorcyclist and his passenger were hospitalized Saturday afternoon after police say they were ejected from the motorcycle following a crash.
Hadley Police and Fire Department received a report of a crash around 4:35 p.m. Saturday to South Maple Street between the malls for an incident involving a motorcycle and a car, driven by a 61-year-old man from Leverett.
Police said both the driver of the motorcycle and the woman riding with him were ejected from the motorcycle. Both were wearing helmets, Sgt. Mitchell Kuc said.
The pair were taken to Baystate Medical Center, where police said they were listed in critical but stable condition. Both the man and the woman are from Ware. Kuc said both people were awake and talking by Sunday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told police that the car failed to yield to the motorcyclist, according to police.
