Kualapuu, HI : Molokai teen injured in crash near 260 Farrington Ave on Thursday, 27th September 2018

A 13-year-old Molokai girl suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a vehicle while she was walking along Farrington Avenue in Kualapuu on night, police said.The collision occurred at 9:25 p.m. near 260 Farrington Ave., police said.

A white 1996 Jeep Cherokee was traveling west when it collided with the girl, who was walking in the same direction along the roadway, police said.

The 27-year-old man driving the Jeep and his female passenger, both from Hoolehua, weren’t injured.

The girl was transported to Oahu for treatment, police said.
