FRANKLIN COUNTY, KY : 6 vehicles involved in I-64 crash on Monday, 13th May 2024

Traffic was backed up for several hours on Interstate 64 after a crash involving multiple vehicles.

It happened Monday morning on eastbound I-64 at Exit 58. That’s near mile marker 61, between Frankfort and Midway.

Police say six vehicles were involved in the crash: two tractor-trailers, three passenger cars, and one armored vehicle.

Three people were taken to area hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
