Cape Cod, MA : Car crashes into Cape Cod beach; driver taken to hospital on Sunday, 14th July 2019

Police and firefighters rushed to a Cape Cod beach Sunday morning after a car crashed into the water.

The Falmouth Police Department said officers were called around 1 a.m. to the end of Mill Road for a report of a car in the water.

The driver crashed into Surf Drive Beach, authorities said.

A tow truck removed the car from the water. The driver was taken to a local hospital by Falmouth Fire and Rescue.
