FORT MYERS, FL : Victim identified in deadly Colonial crash on Thursday, January, 25th 2018

A Lee County crash left one person dead Thursday night.

The crash involved a semi-truck and a car and happened at Colonial Boulevard and Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard in Fort Myers.

The westbound lanes of Colonial were shut down from 9:30 p.m. Thursday to 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Fort Myers Police have released the idenitiy of the victim in the crash. Ernst Dorsinvil, 25, of Fort Myers was driving down Plantation Road and ran a red light when he collided with a tractor-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
