BROCKTON, MA : Stoughton grad, Brockton man killed in Route 24 crash on April, Sunday 16th 2017

The gray sedan came to rest in the middle of the highway with its front end, which had extensive damage, partially in the high-speed lane. A few dozen feet down the road, the vehicle’s engine was near the median barrier.

Brian Charles Jr. laid nearby on the road, covered by a pink sheet, as morning rush-hour traffic went by at a slow pace.

Charles, 22, of Brockton, was killed in the single-car rollover crash on Route 24 south just before Exit 17 to Route 123 in the city.
