MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OH : 1 person taken to hospital after crash in Jefferson Twp. on Tuesday, 3rd August 2021

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were sent to a crash on State Route 4 and Infirmary Road that sent two people to the hospital.

The two-vehicle crash in Jefferson Township was first reported around 10:41 a.m. Tuesday morning. The sheriff’s office said that the crash was between a motorcycle and work van.

The initial investigation found that the two vehicles collided in the intersection, the work van was traveling south on Infirmary Road when the motorcycle hit its passenger side.

The van’s driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was taken to an nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
