Miami, FL : Two men died after a gruesome crash involving a stolen vehicle and bicyclist in Model City on Monday night, Nov 9, 2015

Two men are dead following a crash that police say involved a stolen car and a bicyclist.

Miami police Lt. Freddie Cruz says the stolen Infinity was speeding Monday night when it hit the man on a bicycle and dragged his body for about a block before crashing into a tree.

Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll told the Miami Herald the impact was so severe the tree snapped and fell onto the car, which caught fire.

Carroll says several witnesses tried to help the man in the car, but the flames were too strong.

The names of the victims haven't been released.
