CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, IL : 17-year-old killed in Cahokia Heights, Major Case Squad activated on Saturday, 29th June 2024

A 17-year-old was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Cahokia Heights, police said.

According to the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis, police were called just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday to the 1300 block of Williams Street in Cahokia Heights for a shooting.

At the scene, police said they found a 17-year-old suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
