Bowling Green, MO : Two people injured in an ATV crash in Pike County on Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2016

Two people were injured in an ATV crash Sunday afternoon in Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2005 Arctic Cat 500 driven by Sarah B. Deien, 48, of Hannibal, was westbound on an ATV trail on private property at 13200 West Outer Road at 2:30 p.m. when she lost control while attempting to turn left. The ATV traveled off a bluff, struck a tree and overturned, ejecting the driver and a passenger, Audrey J. Deien, 7, of Hannibal.

Sarah Deien was taken by Survival Flight to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries. Audrey Deien was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with moderate injuries.
