Madison,WI: Victim identified in fiery Dodge County crash on February, Saturday 3rd 2018

The driver of a pickup truck who was seriously injured in a fiery crash early Saturday morning in Dodge County has been identified as Amanda Lesniewski, 26, of Muskego.

Lesniewski was injured when she failed to stop at a stop sign on Highway S at Highway 67, crossed the highway, left the road and went into a tree line, crashing into a large tree.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office believed she was ejected from the pickup truck before it burst into flames.

She was the only person in the vehicle.

Flight for Life took Lesniewski by helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital, where she was in good condition Wednesday.

Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
