Calhoun County, TN : Man charged with felony DUI in fatal Calhoun County crash on Highway 601 at Bear Road on Thursday, 2nd August 2018

State troopers have charged a driver with felony DUI after a deadly crash in Calhoun County.

Investigators say the crash happened on Highway 601 at Bear Road.

Troopers say two people were sitting in a parked car in the median of the road when another vehicle traveling south on 601 rear-ended the car.

The driver of that vehicle has been identified as 30-year-old George Scott of St. Matthews. He's charged with felony DUI.

One of the occupants in the parked car died from their injuries. Their name has not yet been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
