COLUMBIA, SC : Accident involving deputy closes part of Two Notch Road on Wednesday, 1st May 2024

Authorities are asking drivers to avoid a section of Two Notch Road due to a crash, which involved a Richland County Sheriff's Department deputy.

Deputies say the car crash happened around 4:30 pm Wednesday near the 9700 block of Two Notch Road.

Both inbound and outbound traffic around the 9700 block of Two Notch Rd are being diverted. Deputies are routing inbound traffic to North Brickyard or Vahala Roads and outbound traffic to Windsor Lake. However, deputies ask drivers to avoid the area if possible.
