PHOENIX, AZ : Loop 101 reopens in west Phoenix after 5 people hurt in crash on Wednesday, 17th January 2024

A section of Loop 101 was temporarily closed in west Phoenix following a two-vehicle collision that left several people hurt on Wednesday afternoon.

DPS troopers, along with firefighters from Phoenix, Peoria and Glendale responded to the crash shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Agua Fria Freeway near Indian School Road. Phoenix fire officials say five people were hurt, including a 40-year-old man who’s in critical condition and a 61-year-old woman with less-severe injuries.
