PIMA COUNTY, AZ : Deputies ID pedestrian in deadly crash south of Tucson on Saturday, November 12th 2016
A man leaving Desert Diamond Casino early Saturday morning was hit and killed by a car, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Carlos Flores, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an update from PCSD on Sunday evening.
Flores was not in a crosswalk when the crash happened just before 3 a.m., according to investigators.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to PCSD. Deputies said impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation remains open.
