Havre, MT : One person dead after being hit by a pickup truck on Highway 87, south of Havre on Friday night, December 11, 2015

The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a pedestrian hit by a pickup truck about six miles south of Havre.

Trooper Matthew Finley tells KFBB-TV in Great Falls that the incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 87.

Finley says the incident is still under investigation, although it appears a pickup truck was traveling northbound and the victim was in the middle of the road for an unknown reason.
