A pedestrian has died in northwest Phoenix after being struck by a car.
Phoenix police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Bell Road.
Investigators say a car heading south on Bell Road hit a person crossing the street.
Police say the driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of driving under the influence of anything.
The victim's identity has not been released.
