MCHENRY, MD : Pittsburgh man injured in Garrett County crash on Thursday, 21st June 2018

A Pittsburgh man suffered minor injuries early Thursday when the box truck he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on U.S. Route 219 at Lake Shore Drive, according to Maryland State Police.

Brandon Calfee was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital following the 4:05 a.m. crash.

Police said Calfee was operating a 2018 model box truck south on Route 219 and traveled into the north lane, where the truck hit a 2014 Freightliner rig operated by Jerry Davis of Hopwood, Pa. The box truck overturned upon impact and was towed from the scene.

Davis apparently was not injured.
