North Knox County, TN : Knox County school bus driver and student injured after bus crash with car on a Powell road on Wednesday afternoon, April 29, 2015

One student and a bus driver were taken to the hospital after a crash Wednesday afternoon.

Knox County bus #111 was carrying students from Brickey-McCloud Elementary on Pedigo Road when school officials say a car pulled out in front of the bus.

Parents were notified about the crash, and another bus was sent to the scene to pickup the other 37 students on board to finish the route.

Damage to bus is primarily to the door, but it is still being assessed.
