Bluffton, SC : Driver injured in a two-vehicle crash which caused May River Road to be shut down for one and a half hours on Saturday morning August 30th 2014

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on collision on May River Road in Bluffton happening around 4:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Bluffton Township Fire District along with Beaufort County EMS were dispatched to the area of May River Road east of Old Miller Road for an accident involving two vehicles. Crews arrived to find an entrapped driver, the driver was transported by ground to a local hospital. This accident caused May River Road to be shut down for one and a half hours but it has since reopened. The accident is still under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
