Edgewater, FL : 64-year-old William Palladino Jr. died after truck in fatal motorcycle crash in Edgewater on Sunday, February 22, 2015

A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Edgewater on Sunday night, according to police.

Investigators said the 64-year-old victim, William Palladino Jr. was behind some kind of RV or semi-camper and as the vehicle signaled to turn, he crashed into the passenger side rear of the vehicle on West Park Avenue and Mango Tree Drive just before 7 p.m.

The driver of the RV-type vehicle kept going and Palladino died at a hospital, police said.

Officers said Palladino was not wearing a helmet.
Police aren't certain the RV driver was aware of the crash, but they want to find him or her.
