Sherman, TX : SUV damaged following collision with semitrailer on U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman Thursday morning, August 18, 2016

An SUV and a semitrailer were involved in a wreck on southbound U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman Thursday morning.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., Sherman police and fire departments responded to the scene at a section of roadway south of exit 59. The gray SUV with multiple occupants was parked in the median after the wreck. The vehicle had damage along the passenger side with an air bag deployed.

Traffic was condensed to one southbound lane for over half an hour, and the fire department closed the on-ramp near West Birge Street during this time.
