LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 dead, 1 injured in car crash in Taylor Berry neighborhood on Thursday, 11th January 2024

One person is dead after a crash that happened in the Taylor Berry neighborhood.

Louisville Metro police said a car had hit a tree while attempting to turn from Algonquin Parkway onto Winkler Avenue on Thursday at about 9:50 a.m.

The passenger died before they could be taken to a hospital and the driver had minor injuries. Police said the passenger wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The crash is still being investigated by the LMPD Traffic Unit.
