Phoenix, AZ : Three people injured after collided with another vehicle near 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road on Friday night, February 27, 2015
A woman and two children suffered minor injuries after a collision sent their car into a canal in south Phoenix.
Phoenix firefighters say the family was riding in a Chevy Impala on Friday night when it collided with another vehicle near 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road.
Capt. Benjamin Santillan says crews arrived at the scene around 7 p.m. and saw Impala in the canal.
Firefighters rescued the 38-year-old woman, an 8-year-old boy and a 14-month-old boy. All three were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.
Santillan says the driver of the other vehicle declined to be taken to a hospital.
Police say the woman is suspected of driving impaired but they are still investigating.
