Richmond, VA : 70-year-old struck, killed while trying to cross Virginia highway on Friday, December 25, 2015

Police say a 70-year-old man has died after he was hit by two cars while trying to cross a highway.

Richmond Police Department say Bernard W. Gusti was attempting to cross the Jefferson Davis Highway on Friday when he was struck by a car traveling southbound. Police say he was hit by another vehicle after he fell to the ground.

Gusti was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say no charges have been filed but that the incident remains under investigation.
