Toledo, OH : Driver, 4 children injured in a vehicle crash in the central city on Tuesday, April 26, 2016

Five Toledo people, including four children, were injured in a vehicle crash in the central city late Tuesday, authorities said.

Odell Shavers, 41, the driver, and passengers, Jeremiah Taylor, 12 and Ronnie Taylor, 14, were listed in fair condition at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, where Casie Shavers, 10, and Honoste Shavers, 8, also passengers, were treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.

The vehicle was westbound on Campbell Street at Pulaski Street about 8:40 p.m. when for unknown reasons it drove off the south side of the road, police said in the report. The vehicle then struck a utility pole and overturned.

Alcohol is being considered as a factor in the crash, according to the report.
