BOAZ, AL : Albertville man killed in U.S. 431 wreck on Saturday, 2nd March 2024

An Albertville man is dead following a car crash outside of the Marshall Medical Center South building in Boaz Saturday night.

According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, calls came in around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night in response to a multiple motor vehicle crash along U.S. 431.

The man killed in the collision was identified as Timmy Ray Purdy, 52, of Albertville.

Both the Boaz Fire Department and the Marshall Medical Center EMS responded to the incident.
