The Mobile County Sheriff's Office assisted in a pursuit that ended in a crash Thursday afternoon.
"We were assisting in a pursuit with Jackson County and they wrecked out," Mobile County Sheriff's Office public relations person Lori Myles said.
The initial call reported a stolen vehicle out of Jackson County, Myles said.
The wreck occurred near Grelot Road and Cody Roads.
Myles was still gathering details as of 5 p.m., however she said people on scene said the car the officers were chasing ended up upside down.
Myles said a couple of sheriff's office vehicles were damaged, and the driver of the vehicle officials were in pursuit of was taken to a local hospital.
She said she does not have confirmation of other injuries.
