South Odgen ,UT : 18-month-old dies after being hit by car in parking lot on Tuesday ,July 28th 2015

A toddler has died after being struck by a car in an apartment parking lot in South Ogden.

Police reported Wednesday that the 18-month-old girl had been hit by a car Tuesday night in the parking lot of the Canyon Rim apartments.

Police released a statement saying the girl had received medical care on scene and at Ogden Regional Medical Center but didn't survive her injuries.

The case is being investigated.
