Waynesboro, PA : One injured in Waynesboro bus crash on Friday, 9th September 2016

A school bus carrying 35 middle school and high school students was involved in a crash Friday afternoon in Waynesboro.
According to Waynesboro Police Chief Jim Sourbier IV, a bus and a passenger vehicle collided at the intersection of South Potomac and West Sixth Street around 2:43 p.m.
Police said that the bus was traveling west on Sixth Street and crossing Potomac Street when it was struck on the left rear side by a vehicle heading northbound on Potomac Street.
One minor injury was reported and that person was treated on the scene. The operator of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
The bus was operable and continued on route when it was released from the scene.
The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene, according to police.
