Loveland, CO : 1 dead after Loveland truck vs. pedestrian crash in the 300 block of West 37th Street on Monday, 24th February, 2020

A man from Arkansas died after being struck by a pickup truck while he was walking in Loveland on Monday night.

Loveland emergency crews responded to the crash in the 300 block of West 37th Street about 7 p.m. Monday. The man was severely injured and taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Loveland police, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Thompson Valley Ambulance responded to the scene.

Police believe the pickup truck was traveling westbound on 37th Street and struck the man when it pulled into parking access in the area, which is just west of Garfield Avenue, according to a news release. The man was near a paved drive area off the public roadway, police said.
