CHARLESTON, SC : Coroner identifies Ravenel woman killed in Savannah Highway accident on Tuesday, 6thSeptember 2016

Authorities have identified a woman who was killed in a car accident on Savannah Highway Tuesday night.
The Charleston County Coroner's Office says 49-year-old Julia Marie Brown from Ravenel died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
Emergency officials says the accident happened on Savannah Highway and Marginal Road.
Witnesses said the driver of a white Hyundai was traveling south on Savannah Highway and attempted to change lanes.
Authorities said the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the median, crossed over to northbound lanes, ran off of the road and landed in a ditch
The driver, who officials say was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This accident remains under the investigation of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
