LAURENS COUNTY, SC : Driver dead after single vehicle accident on Friday, February 23rd 2018

Highway Patrol Troopers say that one driver passed away after crashing into a guardrail and a monument in Laurens County.

Troopers say the collision happened just before 11:30 p.m. near Ware Shoals. The driver was traveling south on U.S. 25 when they drove off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail and a monument, troopers say. They say the driver died on scene.

Troopers say the victim was driving in a 1999 Ford Mustang and was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. There were no passengers in the vehicle, troopers say.
